About Amber Lynn

Amber Lynn Russell is a dedicated personal injury attorney based in Austin, Texas. Licensed to practice law in Texas since 2006, she is known for her commitment to her clients and her legal acumen. Amber earned her Juris Doctor with high honors from The University of Texas School of Law in 2006. During her time there, she was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Coif, an honor reserved for the top graduates of law schools across the nation. Prior to law school, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The University of Texas in 2002, also graduating with high honors. After completing her education, Amber began her legal career at Baker Botts LLP, a prominent international defense firm, where she worked from 2006 to 2013.

At Baker Botts, she gained inexperience in complex litigation and legal strategy, which laid the groundwork for her future endeavors. In 2013, Amber made a pivotal decision to transition to representing individual plaintiffs, focusing specifically on personal injury cases. This shift marked the beginning of her commitment to advocating for those who have been harmed due to the negligence of others. In 2021, Amber founded LOAR PLLC, a firm dedicated to advocating for injured Texans. Her vision for LOAR PLLC includes plans to expand the firm's reach nationally, ensuring that more individuals have access to quality legal representation. At LOAR PLLC, Amber manages a diverse caseload that encompasses trucking and auto accidents, slip and fall incidents, and workplace injuries.

Her clients appreciate her compassionate approach and relentless dedication to securing fair outcomes, which has become a hallmark of her practice. Amber's legal excellence is recognized. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyer from 2022 to 2025, an accolade that highlights her standing in the legal community. Additionally, she was named to the Up-and-Coming 100: Texas Rising Stars in 2022, further solidifying her reputation as a leading attorney in personal injury law. These recognitions reflect her hard work, expertise, and commitment to her clients. Beyond her legal practice, Amber is deeply committed to community service.

Alongside her husband, she established the Scholarship Opportunities and Relationships (SOAR) program, which provides annual scholarships and mentoring to young women pursuing higher education. The program specifically focuses on supporting first-generation college students and those who have overcome significant challenges. Amber is a proud member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas, further enhancing her ability to serve her clients effectively.
