About Andre Gene
Andre Gene Travieso earned his undergraduate degree at Columbia University before moving on to earn a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law–Newark. He completed the academic sequence that prepares many lawyers for practice in major U.S. jurisdictions. Those years shaped his grounding in legal doctrine and the practical skills needed for courtroom and advisory work.
After law school, Travieso began his professional career in New York. He is admitted to practice in that state and has built his practice around the regulatory and procedural landscape of New York courts. Over time he has handled a range of matters that arise for clients working with a private law firm based in the city, combining advocacy, client counseling and case preparation in day-to-day practice.
His office is listed as TRAVIESO LAW, P.C., where he conducts his legal work. From that base he manages client matters, files court papers and represents parties in hearings when required. The structure of a small firm often places the attorney close to every stage of a case. In that environment Travieso’s role includes drafting pleadings, negotiating on behalf of clients and appearing before judges and tribunals as the matter dictates.
Columbia and Rutgers provided the formal legal training. Practice in New York has supplied the on-the-ground experience. That combination frames his approach to matters that originate in the state. Today he operates out of TRAVIESO LAW, P.C., serving clients and handling legal matters that arise under New York law.
