About Andrew
Andrew Schach built his academic foundation across two states and three degrees. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Central Missouri State University in 2003, followed by an MBA from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2005. He completed his legal training at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2014.
Early practical experience came while he was still a student. In 2014 he worked as a student lawyer at McGeorge School of Law and served as a legal intern for the United States Bankruptcy Court. Those positions exposed him to courtroom procedure and client intake work. They also gave him hands-on time drafting pleadings and assisting in case preparation.
After law school he moved into a mix of private practice and nonprofit legal work. Records show he was affiliated with Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services and took part in the McGeorge School of Law Community Immigration Fair in 2017. That year he also volunteered for OneJustice community clinics. He lists a role at Schach Law Group, APC beginning in 2017, where he has practiced as a lawyer.
Schach is a member of several professional organizations. He has belonged to the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association since 2013. He joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2017 and maintains that membership. His admitted jurisdictions include the State of Missouri and the Federal Circuit.
His background combines business training, bankruptcy court exposure, clinic work and nonprofit immigration practice. Clients and colleagues have seen him handle intake, case development and representation in administrative and court settings. The variety of roles—student lawyer, legal intern, volunteer lawyer and private practitioner—reflects a steady accumulation of courtroom familiarity and client-service work rather than a narrow career track.
Today he practices through Schach Law Group, APC. He continues to take cases that involve immigration-related matters and other issues that fall within his admitted jurisdictions. His current practice centers on those areas and on providing representation in matters brought before the courts and administrative bodies where he is admitted to appear.
