About Bradford
Bradford Hendrickson built his legal foundation in Texas. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008 and completed his J.D. at the University of Houston in 2012. Early in his career he combined court-side experience with stints at local firms, a pattern that continued as he moved into associate roles.
Fresh out of law school, Hendrickson spent time in federal and private chambers. In 2012 he clerked for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas and also worked as a law clerk at Hughes Watters Askanase, LLP. The year before, he served as a law clerk for Williams Kherker and interned at the First Court of Appeals of Texas. He also gained public defense exposure during an internship at the Dallas Public Defender Office in 2010.
Those early positions led to successive associate roles at several Texas firms. In 2013 he was an associate at Levinthal • Wilkins. He later joined Edison, McDowell & Hetherington LLP as an associate in 2016 and then Arnold & Itkin LLP in 2017. Across those years he worked on matters that required appearances in state and federal courts and assisted on cases that passed through different stages of litigation.
Hendrickson is admitted to practice in Texas and is also authorized to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He maintains memberships in local and statewide professional groups, including the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, and the Texas Young Lawyers Association. Those affiliations keep him connected to the local bar and the professional issues that affect trial work and courtroom practice.
Colleagues describe him as practical in the courtroom and methodical in research. He brings courtroom familiarity that grew from both clerkship duties and hands-on associate work. The variety of early experiences — from appellate internships to a federal bankruptcy clerkship — informs how he approaches case preparation and client counseling today.
Hendrickson continues to practice in Texas and appears in the Fifth Circuit, representing clients in state and federal court matters. He maintains a practice focused on litigation and related court proceedings.
