About Brandon Joshua
Brandon Joshua Lauria earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2006. He completed law school during a period of change in the legal profession and entered practice at a time when courts and clients were adapting to new technologies and regulatory shifts. That education provided the foundation for a career spent practicing across two neighboring states.
Lauria is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has worked on matters that require an understanding of the statutes and procedural rules in both jurisdictions. That bi-state license has allowed him to advise clients whose legal needs cross state lines and to appear in courtrooms governed by distinct local practices.
Over the years he has handled tasks common to many attorneys: counseling clients, preparing pleadings, negotiating settlements, and appearing at hearings. He has balanced court work with out-of-court problem solving. He approaches cases with attention to detail and a preference for clear communication. Clients and opposing counsel encounter an attorney who favors practical solutions and steady advocacy.
Colleagues describe Lauria as methodical in his preparation. He tends to break complex matters into manageable parts and to set priorities that reflect immediate and long-term goals. This steadiness can be useful whether the work involves time-sensitive filings or longer-term transactional planning. He also maintains the continuing education and licensing requirements necessary to practice in two states.
Outside of litigation and client meetings, Lauria keeps up with developments in the law that affect his clients. He follows changes in state rules and court decisions that shape how cases are handled. He also makes time for the administrative side of practice, ensuring that filings, deadlines, and client communications are tracked and managed.
Today Lauria practices law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, representing individual and business clients and handling matters that arise in both state systems. He continues to serve clients across those jurisdictions, focusing his practice on the everyday legal needs that bring people and organizations to counsel and to court.
