About Claudia R.

Claudia R. Casas completed her undergraduate studies in maritime administration at Texas A&M University—Galveston before turning to the law. She earned her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2017. The combination of a maritime-focused bachelor’s degree and a Texas legal education shaped an early professional profile grounded in regulatory awareness and doctrinal study.

Her law school years provided the customary mix of doctrinal coursework and practical training found at a major state law school. Classwork sharpened legal reasoning. Practical exercises and drafting assignments refined written advocacy and analysis. Those skills proved useful when she transitioned from student to practicing lawyer.

Casas became a member of the State Bar of Texas in 2018 and maintains her license in that jurisdiction. She has remained active in the bar since admission, sustaining a professional connection to statewide rules and developments in Texas law. That membership places her among attorneys authorized to practice in Texas courts and administrative forums.

After law school and bar admission, Casas joined TB Robinson Law Group, PLLC as an associate lawyer. In that role she performs core tasks expected of associates: legal research, client counseling, drafting motions and briefs, and participating in discovery and negotiation. She assists more senior attorneys on contested matters and contributes to transactional files. Day-to-day work requires balancing deadlines, managing document production, and translating complex legal issues into clear advice for clients.

Her undergraduate concentration in maritime administration has informed her approach to matters that involve regulatory frameworks, logistics, and transportation-related facts, even when the legal questions arise outside a traditional admiralty context. That background provides a practical lens for issues where industry practice and statutory or regulatory rules intersect. It also helps when technical detail must be distilled for judges, regulators, opposing counsel, or clients.

Colleagues describe her as methodical and attentive to factual record-building. She combines litigation support tasks with client-facing responsibilities, moving between courtroom preparation and transactional drafting as demanded by a matter. Casas remains based in Texas and continues to develop experience across the types of matters handled by her firm. Her current practice focuses on client representation, legal research, and drafting in matters arising under Texas law.
