About Gintaras Kazys
Gintaras Kazys Krulikas earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Appalachian State University in 2012, then completed his Juris Doctor at Charlotte School of Law in 2015. His academic record includes editorial work on the Charlotte School of Law Property Law Journal, where he served as an associate editor during his final year of law school.
While in law school, he combined classroom study with practical legal work. He was a summer associate at Minick Law, P.C. in both 2013 and 2014. In 2013 he also worked as a legal intern for Family Dollar, Inc. and in 2014 he served an externship at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of North Carolina. Those experiences gave him exposure to both private-sector legal operations and public prosecutorial work.
After receiving his J.D., Krulikas joined Minick Law, P.C. as an associate lawyer in 2015. He remained with the firm during the next several years and was elevated to equity partner in 2021. His career at the firm reflects steady advancement through roles that began in the firm’s summer program and continued into full-time practice. The progression from summer associate to equity partner underlines a long-term relationship with the firm and the Wilmington legal community.
Krulikas holds a certification in DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. He has maintained active participation in professional organizations. His memberships include the American Bar Association (since 2016), the North Carolina Bar Association (since 2015), North Carolina Advocates for Justice (since 2015), the New Hanover County Bar Association (since 2015), the 5th Judicial District Bar (since 2015) and the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce (since 2015). Earlier campus involvement included service as secretary of Epsilon Tau Pi and membership in Catholic Campus Ministries while at Appalachian State.
Colleagues describe him as someone who stayed local in practice after law school, investing time in bar activities and community ties. He has combined formal training in roadside DWI procedures with courtroom and office practice at Minick Law. His editorial work in law school shows an early interest in property law scholarship, while internships reflect a range of legal environments.
He is currently an equity partner at Minick Law, P.C. and continues to practice law in North Carolina. His current practice focuses on his responsibilities and client work as an equity partner at Minick Law, P.C.
