About Heidi R.

Heidi R. Mandler-Huff combines social science training and legal education in a practice anchored in Oregon. She brings a background in anthropology and sociology to the day-to-day work of representing individuals and businesses in the state. The combination of those undergraduate disciplines and a law degree shapes how she frames legal problems and communicates with clients.

Her academic path began at Evergreen State College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and sociology. That study emphasized context, human behavior and systems of social organization. She went on to earn a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law. During law school she developed the foundational skills of legal analysis and courtroom procedure that underlie her practice today.

Mandler-Huff is admitted to practice in Oregon and holds membership in the Oregon State Bar. She has built her career practicing in the state where she trained. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical and attentive to detail. She tends to prioritize clear communication and careful preparation when working on client matters.

Her earlier work has included handling client intake, preparing filings, and representing clients in hearings and negotiations. Those tasks draw on both legal training and an ability to read interpersonal dynamics—an area where her undergraduate studies inform her work. She draws on that perspective when interviewing clients, developing case strategies and explaining options. She also maintains the administrative and procedural competencies required to manage cases from inception through resolution.

Outside of casework, Mandler-Huff participates in professional life through the Oregon State Bar. That membership keeps her current on changes in state law and bar rules. She engages with peers and stays informed about developments that affect the practice of law in Oregon.

She practices at Liska Law, LLC, where she handles matters for clients in the state. Her work is based in Oregon and she continues to maintain active bar membership there.
