About Jason Edward
Jason Edward Luckasevic earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2000. He finished law school at the turn of the millennium and entered practice during a period of change in the profession. That timing shaped how he approached courtroom work and case preparation.
After law school, he secured admission to practice in several jurisdictions. He is licensed in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Arizona, and he is admitted to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court. Those admissions allow him to take on matters that cross state lines and to appear in federal forums when required.
Over more than two decades in the field, Luckasevic has handled cases that required coordinated filings and strategy across different court systems. He has worked in both state and federal venues. That breadth has required attention to procedural detail and an ability to adapt to differing local rules and judicial preferences.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in courtroom preparation and direct in courtroom presentation. He tends to break complex problems into discrete steps. That approach helps when cases involve layered factual records or overlapping claims in more than one jurisdiction.
His work has included appearances in trial courts and filings in appellate courts. Admission to the U.S. Supreme Court bar further broadens the range of appeals he can accept. He has used those credentials to assist clients whose matters moved beyond a single state.
Luckasevic balances litigation mechanics with client communication. He aims to make procedural consequences clear. He also seeks to set realistic expectations about timing and possible outcomes when cases involve multiple courts.
Outside of casework, he has maintained memberships in professional organizations related to the bar. He has kept current with the evolving rules that affect multi-jurisdictional practice and federal appellate procedure.
Today he practices across the states where he is admitted, taking on matters that require admission in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona or before the U.S. Supreme Court. His current practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional litigation and appeals.
