About Jennifer
Jennifer Harrington built her academic foundation around politics and history. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from the University of California, San Diego in 2013. She then attended Washington & Lee University School of Law, completing her J.D. in 2016.
After law school, Harrington moved into firm practice and took a role as an associate at Pitcoff Law Group, PC. Her early years at the firm involved standard associate responsibilities: drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, preparing motions and participating in client meetings. Colleagues describe her as steady and methodical in case preparation, capable of managing document-intensive matters and tracking deadlines.
Harrington holds licenses in multiple jurisdictions. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina, New York and South Carolina. She maintains active memberships in professional organizations, including the State Bar of New York and the South Carolina Bar. She has been a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar since 2016, a local affiliation that has connected her to the legal community where she practices.
Her work at the firm has intersected with courtroom preparation and transactional support. She regularly handles legal writing tasks, motion practice and the procedural aspects of litigation. She also assists in client counseling and coordinates with opposing counsel and court staff. Those duties have given her repeated exposure to trial preparation routines, discovery management and settlement negotiation procedures.
Outside of casework, Harrington has participated in internal firm efforts to streamline client intake and organize case files. In larger matters she often serves as a primary point of contact for clients during discovery phases, relaying information and summarizing developments for lead attorneys. This role requires clear writing and an ability to break complex material into actionable steps for both clients and supervising partners.
Her career path has been steady rather than flashy. She progressed from law school into a firm associate position and has stayed within that practice environment. At Pitcoff Law Group, PC she continues to manage litigation and transactional tasks on behalf of the firm’s clients. She represents clients across North Carolina, New York and South Carolina as part of her work at Pitcoff Law Group.
