About Julie
Julie Lamkin built a legal path that began in paralegal work and moved steadily into courtroom practice. She earned a B.S. from Suffolk University in 2004 and completed her J.D. at Massachusetts School of Law in 2006. The early years of her career paired practical office roles with exposure to civil litigation procedures.
Her first recorded legal role was as a small claims and civil litigation paralegal at Boyd & Boyd, P.C., where she worked in 2001. She returned to Suffolk University in 2004 as a technical services associate in the law library. After law school she joined Gunderson Dettmer’s Waltham office as a legal records assistant in 2006. That position preceded a staff counsel role in industry, when she served as in-house counsel and contracts administrator for Team Grill, Inc. in 2009.
Lamkin opened a more visible private practice presence in 2012 when she was associated with Lamkin Law Group, LLP as a lawyer. Two years later she took a lawyer position at Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers. Her roles have spanned client-facing litigation support, corporate contract administration, and trial-oriented work. She has practical experience across the lifecycle of civil cases, from intake and records management to filings and courtroom advocacy.
Peers and directories have recognized Lamkin’s work. She has been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyers Rising Star. She holds current membership in the Massachusetts Bar. Those markers sit alongside hands-on experience rather than theoretical credentials alone.
