About Kent Neil Doll
Kent Neil Doll Jr. built his practice from the ground up. He earned his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2008 and began practicing law soon after. Early on he joined the rolls of the Washington bar and became an active member of both the Washington State Bar Association and the Spokane County Bar Association. Those memberships have been continuous since 2008.
Doll’s career moved steadily through regional firms before he struck out on his own. He became a partner at Feltman Ewing in 2018, a role that expanded his responsibilities in firm management and client work. In 2021 he joined Kirkpatrick & Startzel as a partner, taking on a broader caseload and supervising other attorneys. In 2023 he founded KND Law and shifted into leadership of a smaller, boutique practice.
He is admitted to practice in Washington and Idaho and is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. That combination of state and federal admissions has allowed him to represent clients across multiple forums. Colleagues describe him as methodical; clients have relied on him for steady counsel in matters that require attention to procedural detail.
Doll’s background is grounded in courtroom experience and firm-side practice. Over the years he has handled matters that required coordination between state and federal procedure and has advised clients on strategy during litigation and pre-litigation phases. He has maintained active bar memberships in Spokane and statewide in Washington since shortly after graduation, which keeps him plugged into professional developments and local practice trends.
At KND Law he runs a compact operation aimed at responsive client service and hands-on legal work. He continues to maintain his admissions for practice in the Ninth Circuit, Washington and Idaho and manages matters across those jurisdictions. He currently practices from KND Law, representing clients in matters that span his admitted jurisdictions and legal experience.
