About Nancy Carol
Nancy Carol Nissen is a partner at Tully Rinckey PLLC in White Plains, New York, where she focuses on family and matrimonial law, as well as employment law. She has been practicing law for over 30 years, having been admitted to the New York State Bar in 1994. She earned her Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 1993 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
Her legal career began with the City of New York, handling family law matters, including cases of neglect and abuse. At Tully Rinckey PLLC, Nancy represents clients in many family and matrimonial matters, including divorce proceedings, separation agreements, child custody and visitation modifications, and child support litigation. She also assists clients with prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, as well as parenting agreements.
In addition to her litigation experience, Nancy is a trained Divorce Mediator, committed to helping clients resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution. She draws on her mediation skills to de-escalate conflict, foster productive dialogue, and guide parties toward solutions that are both practical and sustainable. Nancy is admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey.
She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Westchester Women's Bar Association, and the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals. She has been recognized for her contributions to family law, including her selection to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Family Lawyers.
