About Rachael L.
Rachael L. Kemmey built her early academic life around Pennsylvania institutions. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Temple University in 2010. She then completed her juris doctor at Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2013.
After law school, Kemmey entered the courthouse as a judicial law clerk. She served under The Honorable John P. Capuzzi, Sr., in the Criminal Division of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. That role placed her daily inside a busy trial court where she observed courtroom procedure, handled legal research and prepared memoranda and draft opinions for the bench.
Following her clerkship, Kemmey spent time in private practice as an associate at Eckell, Sparks, Levy, Auerbach, Monte, Sloane, Matthews & Auslander, P.C. In that capacity she worked on matters that required both courtroom presence and detailed legal preparation. The experience broadened her exposure to litigation practice and to the procedural mechanics of Pennsylvania courts.
Kemmey is active in local and professional legal organizations. She holds membership in the Guy G. deFuria Chapter of the American Inns of Court and participates in the Delaware County Bar Association and its Young Lawyers’ Section. She remains involved in professional networks that center on courtroom professionalism and the local bar community.
Her practice is rooted in Pennsylvania. Kemmey maintains offices in Media and West Chester, which allow her to meet clients and appear in nearby courts. She combines her clerking experience and work as an associate to advise and represent parties in state court matters.
Colleagues describe Kemmey as deliberate in her preparation. She tends to handle matters that require familiarity with local court rules and calendar practices. Her background in the Criminal Division of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas informs how she approaches procedural challenges and trial settings.
Outside of firm work she continues to engage in the Delaware County legal community through the bar association and the Inns of Court. Those memberships provide ongoing opportunities for mentorship and peer review. She currently practices law in Pennsylvania from offices in Media and West Chester and focuses her practice on matters in Pennsylvania state courts.
