About Ryan C.
Ryan C. Morris earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida and completed his Juris Doctor at Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2012. He attended law school after finishing his undergraduate degree and moved quickly into hands-on legal work while still a student.
During law school Morris held several practical roles that exposed him to both courtroom procedure and office practice. He served as a law clerk at Haynes & Laurent, P.A. in 2011. In 2012 he was a judicial extern with the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Florida and a legal intern at the Osceola County Lawyer's Office. Those positions gave him experience observing judges and participating in the preparation of court filings.
After graduation and bar admission, Morris worked briefly as an associate at Brownstone Law, P.A. in 2013. The same year he established Foundation Legal, P.A., where he took on the title Owner & Appellate Lawyer. His move to open a firm so soon after joining a firm reflects an early decision to concentrate on appellate work and manage the practice side of a small firm.
Morris is admitted to practice in Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He has held membership in professional organizations since 2013, including the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association. Those memberships align with the jurisdictions where he appears and help him stay current on procedural developments that affect appeals and post-trial practice.
At Foundation Legal, P.A., Morris handles appeals and related litigation matters for individuals and businesses in state and federal courts. He prepares appellate briefs, manages the record on appeal, and appears where necessary to argue matters before appellate panels. He runs the firm and oversees case strategy while continuing to litigate and pursue remedies available on appeal. He continues to lead Foundation Legal, P.A., representing clients in appeals and related civil matters in state and federal courts.
