About Ryan
Ryan Rodriguez built his legal foundation in Southern California. He earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, San Diego in 1999 and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2003, where he studied criminal law. Those academic choices set a clear path into criminal justice work.
He began his career in county prosecutor offices. In 2004 he joined the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office as a Deputy District Attorney II. The courtroom experience there emphasized case preparation, witness handling and jury work. Two years later he moved to the Orange County District Attorney's Office, serving as Deputy District Attorney III in 2006. The move expanded his exposure to different charging practices and courtroom procedures across county lines.
In 2007 Rodriguez left the public sector and started his own practice. He opened the Law Offices of Ryan Rodriguez to represent clients in matters that grew out of his years as a prosecutor. The shift from government to private practice provided a new vantage point. He began counseling clients on criminal cases and related issues, often drawing on his firsthand knowledge of prosecutorial strategy.
Rodriguez is admitted to practice in California and in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He is a member of the State Bar of California, where his membership dates to 2004. He also maintains memberships in local bar groups, including the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association and the Cuban Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect a throughline in his professional life: engagement with the legal community across the region where he works.
Colleagues and former supervisors describe him as someone who learned the mechanics of trial work in demanding county offices and then applied those skills in private practice. He handles case investigation, plea negotiations and trial representation. His background gives him familiarity with how prosecutors build cases and how defense strategies can counter those efforts.
Rodriguez runs a small law office that takes cases in state and federal courts. The practice continues to draw on the prosecutorial experience he gained in Los Angeles and Orange counties and on the training he received at Loyola. He practices criminal law and related defense matters in California state and federal courts.
He currently practices at the Law Offices of Ryan Rodriguez, representing clients in criminal matters in California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
