About Santo Artusa
Santo Artusa Jr. graduated from Rutgers School of Law–Newark and built an early legal foundation that mixed court-side experience with community involvement. He entered the legal workplace as a law clerk and intern at the New Jersey Federal District Court in 2008, where he observed federal procedures and helped support courtroom preparation.
A year after his clerkship he stepped into a leadership role at the Artusa Law Office. Listed as Lead Lawyer beginning in 2009, he has overseen cases and office operations there since that time. That early move into firm leadership came quickly. It also placed him at the center of practice management and client service in a small-firm setting.
Beyond his courtroom and office duties, Artusa has kept a steady connection to civic life. He began volunteering with the American Red Cross in 2007 and continued through 2011. He has participated with the March of Dimes since 2013 and has coached youth soccer in Jersey City since 2012. Those activities run alongside a professional practice and reflect an ongoing engagement in local institutions.
His involvement in bar and professional groups has been consistent. He has been a member of the Hudson County Bar Association since 2009. He also served in a leadership position within the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, acting as chairperson for the Practice Management section from 2009 to 2010. That role involved organizing peers and developing materials aimed at early-career attorneys navigating firm operations and ethical responsibilities.
Artusa holds a merit certification from the American Civic Association. The credential is noted among his professional qualifications and complements his practical training at the federal court and in private practice.
The Artusa Law Office maintains multiple locations, including a Passaic office, and lists a main office in its directory. Artusa has continued to practice in New Jersey courts while managing the business side of a small law firm. Colleagues and community contacts describe him as accessible and involved, balancing day-to-day legal work with civic commitments.
He remains active in Hudson County legal circles and in local community programs. He currently focuses on representing clients in New Jersey and on running the operations of the Artusa Law Office.
