About Theodor
Theodor Kaplun graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Finance and Real Estate in 2005 and returned to the same university for his law degree, earning a J.D. in 2011. He combined business-oriented undergraduate training with legal study, a background that has informed the practical side of his work in personal injury and accident law.
He began his legal career at the Law Offices of Stanley J. Ellenberg in 2012, where he worked on litigation and client advocacy. A year later he joined KaplunMarx Accident & Injury Lawyers as a partner. That move placed him at a firm whose practice centers on accident and injury claims across state lines.
Kaplun is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar, the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. Those memberships reflect active engagement with the professional organizations that shape trial practice and defense strategies in the region.
In court and at the negotiating table, Kaplun handles cases arising from motor vehicle collisions, workplace incidents, and other accident-related injuries. He represents clients through the stages common to personal injury matters: initial intake, evidence development, negotiations over settlement, and, when necessary, trial. He has worked on cases that required dealing with insurers, preparing expert testimony, and presenting evidence to judges and juries.
Colleagues and opposing counsel describe him as practical and detail-oriented. He approaches casework from a fact-based perspective and emphasizes documentation and timely action. On paper, his combination of a finance background and legal training helps him assess damages and settlement valuations in ways that some clients find helpful.
Kaplun maintains his practice through KaplunMarx Accident & Injury Lawyers, where he is involved in handling cases in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He continues to be active in regional bar associations and trial groups, attending events and staying current on procedural developments. His current practice focuses on representing people injured in accidents and pursuing compensation for their losses.
